Would you like to transfer to the University of Bonn for your next career step? The Starter Kit Grant (A) - Stepping Stone offers you up to two years of employment for the start of an academic career. The focus of the funding is the preparation of an application for third-party funding.

Argelander Starter-Kit Grant (B) Research Funds

With the Starter-Kit Grant we make you fit for the start of an academic career after your doctorate. The funding includes material resources to support research activities as well as a comprehensive advisory programme for writing a third-party funding proposal and preparing for an academic career.

Argelander Academy Grants

Argelander Academy Grants allow postdoctoral researchers to invite up to four international postdocs with similar research interests to come to Bonn for a period of two to eight weeks to work together on a research question. Each academy concludes with a small conference.

Argelander Mobility Grants

Argelander Mobility Grants support more experienced postdocs (one to five years after completing their doctorate) to gain relevant international experience. The funding finances a research stay for six to 12 months at a research institution abroad.
