What does nutrition have to do with the health of our planet? The world population is increasing, climate change is advancing - questions about how all people on earth can be fed sustainably and healthy and what this means for the planetary load limits are on the table. The Planetary Health Diet as the plate of the future aims to provide answers to these questions. In the lecture, the aspects of a sustainable diet in relation to the impact on the planet will be discussed and it will be shown what this can mean concretely for one's own shopping basket.
Speaker: Mirjana Karan (Nutritionist & Consultant)
What should we eat and why? What's good in our food - does that also apply to processed foods? How can we detect sugar and fat traps? In this interactive lecture, we will take a close look at food packaging and look together at what is contained in our food and what we can pay particular attention to in packaged food.
