The Argelander Competence Center is a contact point for junior scientist. It was established in the Alte Sternwarte (Old Observatory Bonn) in 2017 and is home to a variety of facilities with different competences to fully support junior researchers including the Argelander Program for Early-Career Researchers, which targets doctoral researchers and postdocs. The Center has rooms for events, a lounge for networking events and a consulting and advisory center. Whatever non-academic issue you may have, the University of Bonn’s administration in the Argelander Competence Center is happy to help.
