Dr. Merlin Monzel is a German psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist at the University of Bonn whose research focuses on mental imagery, aphantasia, autobiographical memory, and emotion processing. His work combines experimental psychology, neuroscience, and psychophysiology to investigate the cognitive and affective consequences of imagery differences. Recently, he is also conducting research on natural language processing and large language models for psychological assessment and text analysis.
