University Development Plan

For more than 200 years, the University of Bonn has been one of the best-performing universities in Europe with its excellent top-level research. In 2019, we became the most successful university in the national competition with six Clusters of Excellence and the title "University of Excellence".

A key foundation for these outstanding successes was our strategy "WE invest in people, WE foster networks, WE create impact". This strategy is a basis of our University's future concept, which is explained in detail in the University Development Plan. It summarizes the University's profile, status quo, goals and measures for the future.

“forsch” - The Magazine of The University of Bonn

The Bonn university magazine is published a number of times a year. Covering a range of topics from university life, it provides exclusive reports from the university political system, research and teaching, and gives updates about the activities of various university personalities. This strengthens the identification of University staff with the wider University community. “forsch” is available at various stands in University buildings and directly from the University Communications Division.
