Student Orientation Weeks

During “Student Orientation Weeks,” many universities in North Rhine-Westphalia invite high school students to visit their campuses, learn more about what it’s like to study there, and benefit from special advising opportunities. The University of Bonn and its individual departments are part of this state-wide program every year, offering a diverse range of services and events.

Academic Advising Night

“Last-minute” counseling before the deadline arrives: This event is designed for prospective students who wish to begin their studies in the winter semester and still have questions about choosing a degree program and applying for admission – our advisors are here to help them begin their studies successfully.

Fairs

Fairs are another great opportunity to grab information and discuss academic opportunities at the University of Bonn with counselors from the Central Study Advisory and Counseling Service and the University departments.

The higher education area around Bonn offers prospective students hundreds of degree programs to choose from. The Bonn University Fair, organized by the career counseling office of the Bonn Employment Agency, helps high school graduates get an overview and find the right option.
