Wolfgang Paul Fellowship

What opportunities does the Wolfgang Paul Fellowship offer?

The Wolfgang Paul Fellowship enables two TRA Matter members with different research focuses to jointly invite an international guest researcher ("Gastwissenschaftler*in) to Bonn for a research stay of six weeks to three months.

What is the aim of the Fellowship?

The Wolfgang Paul Fellowship brings international guest researchers and members of TRA Matter together, creating space for the exchange of different perspectives and expertise. The additional international perspective enriches research within TRA Matter, provides new scientific impulses, and opens up new avenues for interdisciplinary collaboration.

What are the requirements?

  • Two TRA Matter members (with different research focuses) can jointly propose both a) established researchers for the "Wolfgang Paul Senior Guest Fellowship" and b) early-career researchers (postdocs, junior research group leaders) for the "Wolfgang Paul Junior Guest Fellowship" for a research stay in Bonn.
  • The Fellow’s research stay should last at least six weeks and no longer than three months.
  • Further funding conditions and requirements can be found in the call for applications and application form (see download section below).
