Series of events: TRA & ART

In order to do justice to the broad spectrum of (research) questions concerning TRA individuals, institutions and societies, many scientific perspectives must be adopted: Economic issues are combined with legal, political, sociological, psychological, cultural, media and religious issues.

In parallel, the same questions as well as the findings from science are addressed in the various arts: be it in the performing arts, such as theatre, film and dance, in literary and musical works or visual arts - they all address individual, institutional and social aspects and issues with their heterogeneous opportunities and challenges. In turn, they inspire new questions (not only) for science, such as: Are words capable of creating reality? What role does imagination play? Can poetry created by a machine without consciousness or intention still evoke emotions?

The ‘TRA & ART’ series offers a meeting space in which the respective artistic and scientific perspectives are presented and brought together in a unique dialogue. This provides the opportunity for mutual stimulation of inter- and transdisciplinary questions, impulses and discussions as well as for a research-based creative exchange. The format of the individual event can vary depending on the topics addressed and the actors involved. Some events are internal, others are open to the interested public.

Further events will follow shortly.
