Research topics
  • genetics and epigenetics of germ cell tumors
The research centers around germ cell development and germ cell tumors. As such, we are using germ cell tumor lines to test novel therapy approaches as well as gene-editing in mice to delete genes which are specifically expressed during spermatogenesis. We contribute to the understanding of tumor treatment and enrich the knowledge about genes involved in male fertility.
