Welcome to Spatial Biology Club!

Recent advances in single-cell omics technology have shed light on the molecular and cellular heterogeneity of tissues and provided new insights into health and disease. The emerging field of Spatial Omics technologies is building on these findings to explore the complexity of life at all levels. However, this rapid technological development poses a key experimental and computational challenge: decoding life via spatially informed datasets.
Our club presents the latest developments in spatial omics technologies, machine learning and data analytics through guest lectures, workshops and meetings.
Technologies in this field of research are bundled in the Competence Hub for Spatial Biology.

Vibrant Exchange at the Internal Symposium of the Spatial Biology Club Bonn

On November 6th, the Spatial Biology Club Bonn hosted its Internal Symposium, bringing together more than 30 researchers to discuss recent advances in spatial biology and to strengthen local scientific connections.
The program featured short talks by researchers from different institutes across Bonn, working on diverse aspects of spatial biology. In addition, participants presented their projects in one-minute flash talks, sparking lively discussions and inspiring new ideas for collaboration.
Beyond the scientific sessions, the symposium offered an engaging platform for networking, methods exchange, and interdisciplinary collaboration on spatial-omics technologies.

How can I participate?

Our “Spatial Biology Club” is aimed at researchers at all career levels at the University of Bonn and local cooperation partners. If you would like to join us, attend the seminars and exchange ideas with other participants. Sign up for our mailing list to receive regular updates on our events (Uni-ID required).

Registration without Uni-ID

Please send us an e-mail if you work at a non-university institution and would like to join the mailing list.
