Services offered by the administration's event management department

Would you like to equip a teaching room with new technology or supplement existing technology with new components? Are you planning a hybrid scenario for your course and would like advice on selecting suitable hardware? Do you need the right equipment for audio or video recording for your workshop conference?


We advise and support you in all technical matters relating to teaching rooms and events in the following four core areas.

Management of centrally administered rooms and areas

We are responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and modernization of mobile and fixed (media and event) technology and furniture, as well as providing instruction and troubleshooting before, during, and after an event. This includes both recurring and one-off events. For fixed and ongoing support for events, an external specialist from our framework agreement partner must be booked, the costs of which are to be borne by the commissioning institution itself. To this end, it is necessary to submit a corresponding service order via the web portal of Department 4.6 to the Event Management Division in order to ensure smooth commissioning and billing. Centrally managed rooms can be rented via the room allocation system.

Support for your individual events

In cooperation with external partners, we support your conference or meeting with the necessary equipment, from lighting and sound to video recording. For this purpose, we maintain a pool of mobile media and event technology for individual events. Equipment can be booked centrally through Department 4.1. Any technology beyond this pool must be rented and financed independently by the commissioning institution. To ensure smooth commissioning and billing, it is necessary to submit a corresponding service order to the Event Management department via the web portal of Department 4.6.


Advice on the use of technology for hybrid teaching

We advise on hybrid event projects and the associated (media technology) equipment for mobile and permanently installed units.

Advice on equipping classrooms

We advise on plans for (media technology) purchases, both for new equipment and for the modernization of teaching rooms. In doing so, we pay particular attention to the quality and performance of the technology to be used (mobile or permanently installed).
