Living well
Life is beautiful on the Rhine…

Find out about Bonn, the Rhine Valley, Siebengebirge and Much More

Bonn is not just Beethoven and Carnival, but can look back on over 2,000 years of history. People from about 180 nations live in Bonn with its former government quarter, the United Nations and its famous annual market.  Bonn’s rural hinterland also has a lot to offer:  The many hiking trails of the Siebengebirge, the Eifel Mountains and the Ahr and Sieg valleys provide excellent rest and recuperation.

The Bonn Greeters

The University of Bonn has concluded a contract with the Bonn Greeters, who are on hand to provide a personal introduction to life in Bonn.  A unique introduction...

Feedback from newly appointed professors about their Greets with the Bonn Greeters:

“The meeting with my Greet went great! We had a very special city tour, and going around by car we got to see all the different areas of Bonn. This was a great way of getting a first overview. Now we know which areas we like best, which will come in handy when hunting for places to stay. The tour gave us a better idea of the city and its geography. We would gladly recommend the Bonn Greeters to anybody. Our day was a full success!"
