Directions
From the main station
- At the subway station, take the tram (lines 16, 63, 66) from track 2 in the direction of Godesberg/Rheinaue/Bad Honnef
- After one stop, get off at the Universität/Markt stop
- Leave the stop via the “Kaiserplatz” exit
- Walk towards the main building and enter the castle through the entrance of the south-west wing
With your own vehicle
From the A 565/Poppelsdorf exit
- Reuterstraße towards the B9/Bad Godesberg
- At Bundeskanzlerplatz, turn left towards the city center onto Adenauerallee (B9)
- At Hofgarten, turn left onto Stockenstraße
- Parking is available in the underground garages around Bonn city center
From the A 562/Bonn-Zentrum exit
- Take the B9 towards Bonn-Zentrum
- At Bundeskanzlerplatz, keep right (towards the city center) onto Adenauerallee (B9)
- At Hofgarten, turn left onto Stockenstraße
- Parking is available in the Markt underground parking garage
Barrier-free access
At present, barrier-free access can only be guaranteed from Wednesday to Friday. We are working urgently to resolve this issue and appreciate your understanding.
- Please use the main entrance on the city center side of the university.
- Cross the Arkardenhof courtyard and enter the building through the south-west wing.
- The path leads you straight ahead to the cafeteria, through which you enter the columned hall.
- Leave the columned hall through the door to the right of the fireplace.
- Now pass through the rose garden. At the end of the corridor, go through the door on the right to reach the entrance to the university museum.
