Approach by public transport

Long-distance train (IC/ICE)

If you are traveling by long-distance train, your destination is Bonn Hauptbahnhof or the ICE station Siegburg/Bonn. 

Due to construction work on Bonn’s light rail network, there are service restrictions on lines 16, 63, and 66. Please refer to the information on the SWB website.

From Bonn Hauptbahnhof, you can take line 16 (toward Bad Godesberg/Heussallee) or line 63 (toward Bad Godesberg/Heussallee) to the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop. The route ends there during the construction work. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to KUNST!RASEN.

From Siegburg/Bonn, bus line 66 currently runs only as far as Bonn Central Station. There, you can transfer to lines 16 or 63 and continue to the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop.

Local train (S/RB/RE)

If you are coming on a local train, we recommend going as far as the “Bonn UN-Campus” station, from where it is about a 20-minute walk to KUNST!RASEN.

Subway/tram

If you’re traveling by tram from Bonn Central Station, your destination is the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop. This stop is still served by lines 16 and 63.

From Siegburg/Bonn, line 66 currently runs only as far as Bonn Central Station. There, you can transfer to lines 16 or 63 and continue on to the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop. From the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop, KUNST!RASEN is just a few minutes’ walk away. 

The “Rheinaue” stop is not being served by trams during this time.

Please note that lines 16 and 63 are operating on separate routes in some sections due to construction work. Passengers coming from Bad Godesberg, Stadthalle, or Hochkreuz cannot currently reach the “Heussallee/Museumsmeile” stop without transferring and should check the latest passenger information as well as details on the replacement services in operation.

Bus

If you are coming by bus, we recommend taking no. 610 or 611 to the “Johanniterkrankenhaus” stop.

Bicycle

You can cycle to KUNST!RASEN by heading upstream on the left bank of the Rhine. 

Car

If you are driving, take the A 59 as far as the junction with the A 562 at Bonn Beuel Ramersdorf (Südbrücke Bonn). When you get to the end of the bridge, take the exit marked “Rheinaue,” turn right and stay on this road as it heads toward the Post Tower. Then follow the signs to KUNST!RASEN.

Parking

If you decide to come by car, follow the signs KUNST!RASEN "Parken“. The signs lead you to the next available car park or parking garage. Parking is subject to a fee.

There are also parking lots free of charge around the venue, but we ask you to respect the "Anwohnerparkplatz“, the residents parking lots and we want to mention that the city of Bonn is very assiduous. We recommend public transportation – or enjoy a nice walk along the river Rhine.
