The agreement will be implemented through a lively exchange of students, academic staff and administrative and support staff. Teachers and students will be given the opportunity to research, teach and study at the partner location. The agreement also provides for the establishment of joint study and research programs and work-shadowing offers for administrative staff. Both universities also intend to develop joint research and teaching activities. The aim of the partnership is to promote the mutual understanding of the respective university structures as well as the scientific exchange of information and to explore possibilities for collaboration in international networks.

The rectorate of the University of Bonn is very pleased to announce this strategic partnership with the University of St. Andrews, one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
