The Rectorate’s Executive Management
The Executive Management develops and coordinates the Rectorate’s processes and manages cooperation in the Rectorate.
It is responsible for establishing and expanding networks and for event and identification activities aimed at achieving the Rectorate’s strategic objectives. The University Council office is part of the Executive Management.

Personal Assistant Team
The personal assistants work on and assist with implementation of the Rectorate’s strategic goals. They also provide topic and content-related advice to the Vice Rectors and prepare recommendations for action. Their area of responsibility also includes topic-related management of project groups and representing the Rectorate in bodies, committees and project groups in and outside the University.

Rectorate Event Management Team
The Event Management Team is responsible for developing, organizing and conducting events for the Rectorate. This includes the annual ceremony inaugurating the new academic year and the Universitätsfest. The Event Management Team assists the Rectorate in communicating its strategic objectives in and outside the University using formats tailored to the target group.

Alumni, Friends and Sponsors Team
The Alumni, Friends and Sponsors Team maintains relations with former students and current sponsors of the University of Bonn. This work is conducted under the aegis of the Universitätsgesellschaft Bonn, the University development association and the Alumni Network, the free-of-charge online service of the University for its alumni. Both organizations work together closely in the conception and implementation of services for their members and in a number of online and offline events.

Identification and Events Team
Our aim is to reach people on the content and emotional level, stimulating an interest for research and making it accessible to them, and in so doing, developing a level of identification in them with the University of Bonn. We focus on schools, schoolchildren and the interested general public. We use a range of instruments in developing a loyal interest group ranging from the activities of the Youth Uni Bonn, school cooperation programs, Bonn Science Night, the University information center and our range of university merchandise.
