Sustainability Day on May 21, 2025
It's finally time again: on May 21, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Poppelsdorf campus will once again be transformed into a lively place of exchange about sustainability at our university. Numerous stands and hands-on activities invite you to get to know the diverse commitment from research, teaching and operations - from innovative recycling ideas in the operating room to creative sustainable start-ups and energy generation in space. Whether curious, committed or simply interested - all members of the University of Bonn are invited.

Fairtrade Coffe-Bike
From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., a special highlight awaits you once again on the Poppelsdorf Campus: the Fairtrade Coffee Bike by Fairtrade Germany will be visiting! Take the opportunity to enjoy a coffee break and treat yourself to a free hot beverage made from fair trade ingredients.
Fair football tournament (Human Table Soccer)
Fair play - on the pitch & beyond. On this year's Sustainability Day on 21 May 2025, a fair soccer tournament (Human Table Soccer) is part of the program on the Poppelsdorf campus!
You can expect exciting information on the topic of sustainability in (soccer) sport and ALL university members are invited to play from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Foodsharing Pop-Up "Fairteiler"
Visit the Foodsharing Germany pop-up Fairteiler between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Here, you can pick up rescued food for free, connect with others, and learn more about mindful and sustainable food practices.
Foodtruck Studierendenwerk
The Studierendenwerk food truck is back again this year, offering a variety of delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes – all served in eco-friendly, compostable packaging.

Sustainability Day 2024 - Recap
A big thank you to everyone who helped out with and took part in the Sustainability Day 2024!
On May 7, 2024, for the third year in a row, visitors could enjoy over 20 stalls and activities run by some of the key figures in sustainability from across the University of Bonn. All members of the University had been invited to experience the Sustainability Day on the Poppelsdorf Campus.

Thank You Very Much! —Sustainability Day 2023
#workingtogetherforsustainability—the Sustainability Day on May 11, 2023
All members of the University of Bonn had been warmly invited to experience the Sustainability Day 2023 on the Poppelsdorf Campus on May 11. Key players in the sustainable transformation at the University were on hand to introduce themselves and their work at a wide range of stalls and offer some exciting activities.
The second incarnation of the Sustainability Day proved an unqualified success this year too, and we are delighted that so many of you came along and joined in.
