Once again this year, the Fair of Opportunities at the exhibition in the Arkadenhof invited visitors to talk with many of the people involved in diversity-related initiatives and projects at the University of Bonn. They were shown its commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity through a variety of attractively presented information boards and given an opportunity to grapple with the issue themselves.
Members of the Vice Rectorate for Sustainability and the Sustainability Unit were also there in person. Team N (N for “Nachhaltigkeit,” or “sustainability” in German) ran a stall providing information in a fun way—via an “SDG Memory Game,” no less—about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, in which gender equality and equal opportunity play a key role.
