How can I participate?

On-Campus Ticket

To participate in the on-campus program, you will need an On-Campus Ticket! To obtain a ticket, please register online!

Check-in with “3G status” only

Please bring your On-Campus Ticket and a valid proof of 3G compliance (vaccinated, recovered or tested) for check-in.

Live presentations and campus tours

The program including all pre-booked live presentations by the departments and campus tours starts at 11:00 am.

On-campus events

To participate in on-campus events, you must have an On-Campus Ticket! To obtain a ticket, please register online and select all events in which you wish to participate, i.e. the individual live presentations held by the departments and, where applicable, a campus tour. Your On-Campus Ticket will only grant you access to events for which you have registered in advance.

Please bring your On-Campus Ticket  on your smartphone or as a hard copy at the day of the event. You will need to show your ticket at check-in, when entering lecture halls and at the start of the campus tour.

Check-in for the University of Bonn Days will begin at 10:00 am on both days. Please bring your On-Campus Ticket and a proof of 3G compliance. Access to the events can only be granted to participants who have been fully vaccinated, tested or have recovered  (rapid antigen test performed no more than 24 hours before check-in). Students from schools with continuous teaching activity (e.g. “Gymnasium” or “Gesamtschule”) are considered tested due to obligatory testing in schools and will only need their student ID as proof of 3G compliance.

After successful check-in you will receive a wristband granting access to the building and lecture halls.

From 11:00 am onward on both days, you will be able to attend presentations of the various academic disciplines and find out useful information on the content and main areas of focus of the programs, their structure and schedule, any recommended prior knowledge and career prospects in the field. For deep in-depth insights, some presentations will also highlight issues from current scientific research.

  • Wearing of medical masks is obligatory in the entire building.
  • There will be access controls at the lecture halls. Staff will verify your registration for the presentation at hand. Please have your On-Campus Ticket ready. These controls are necessary as places in the lecture halls are limited due to public health measures. Please only take seats that were cleared for use.
  • All presentations will begin punctually on the hour and last 45 minutes. You will therefore have enough time to switch lecture halls between presentations.

The Central Study Advisory and Counseling Service will be offering informative campus tours (duration: around 40 minutes) at 11:00 am, 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm on both days. Get to know City Campus on 11/13/2021 and Poppelsdorf Campus on 11/20/2021 and have your individual questions on studying at the University of Bonn answered by our study advisors.

Campus tours take place exclusively outdoors and are limited to 20 participants who need to have registered in advance (On-Campus Ticket) and show their wristband.
