Support measures for refugees

The Academic Integration Program for Refugees (“Förderung der Integration in das Studium”) is intended to provide refugees with a free and largely unbureaucratic path to enter into pre-studies that will prepare them for subsequent studies at the University of Bonn and integrate them into everyday academic life.

The Campus International program seeks to promote greater intercultural exchange at the University of Bonn. Students have diverse opportunities to acquire intercultural experience and soft skills in a targeted manner.

Embarking on your studies marks a new chapter in your life that will differ in many aspects from your usual ways of living and working. We want to help you get ready for the transition to university studies in a positive and systematic way and make sure you independently co-shape your start into your studies.

Welcome Days

The Welcome Days offer new international (doctoral) students the opportunity to find out about the most important topics, such as enrollment, city registration, opening a bank account, etc. Furthermore, the Welcome Days offer the opportunity to get to know other international and German (PhD) students at our social events.
