Career Service Info-Hour
During the Career Service Info-Hour you will receive information about the Career Service's offers.
This is not career counseling.
This career counseling is held in German. You need at least B2-level.
Starting in the summer semester of 2025, the University of Bonn Career Service will be offering a Career Service Info-Hour, Tuesdays from 1:15 – 2:15 pm.
Are you currently asking yourself any of these questions:
- How can the University of Bonn Career Service or other providers of advice in or outside the University help answer my questions about careers guidance, career planning and management, or application strategies?
- In which semester can I start attending Career Service events?
- Which Career Service events would be worthwhile for me at the moment?
Then the Career Service Info-Hour is for you.
Without needing to book, you can come along and find out about what the Career Service has to offer and about careers events at the University of Bonn and in the local area in a brief consultation lasting no more than 10 minutes. Your advisor will help you decide which other consultation or which Career Service workshop you might like to sign up for and will give you some event flyers to take home.
General information regarding the Career Service Info-Hour
- Individual career counseling is not provided as part of Career Service Info-Hour. If you would like careers advice, please go along to the “Karriere-Sprechstunde” or book a Career Service Appointment.
- CV and application portfolio reviewing is not provided as part of Career Service Info-Hour.
- Bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students or those preparing for a state examination at the University of Bonn.
No registration is required.
No, you don’t need to bring anything with you.
- Yes, you can take advantage of the offering multiple times.
- The rule that you can only book a maximum of three Career Service workshops and/or consultations per semester does not apply to Career Service Info-Hour.
- Career Service Info-Hour is offered in both German and English.
- The Career Service Info-Hour is held in person at Poppelsdorfer Allee 49, Room 3.004 + 3.003.
