If we’re together, we’re less alone.

Connecting at the University of Bonn

Together we’re less alone — and a shared study experience is also a better one!

Connecting with other people is a chance to acquire valuable experience, get involved in a variety of ways and build and hone your skills. Maybe you also simply want to meet fellow students at the University or new people in the city in order to feel a little less lost or chat about a topic that interests you, whatever that might be.

Connecting and structuring your free time

There’s more to a student’s life than lectures, labs and the like. Finding the right blend of study and free time is important to live a healthy, balanced life. Come and be inspired by these suggestions for things to do.

  • University Sports (e.g. the “GemeinsamAktiv” buddy program)
  • Cultural activities
  • Religious associations
  • Be EmPOWERed! (SocialPOWER) Tools for shared studying such as Padlet
  • Study Buddy Program run by the International Office (University of Bonn students help new international students to get off to a good start at the University and in Bonn)
  • International Club (a place for German and international students at the University of Bonn to meet)
  • Bonn Greeters (locals take you on a walk through their home city and share their own personal angle on Bonn and some of the little things that make it what it is)
