The collaboration focuses on practical workshops for doctoral students and postdocs. These workshops offer new perspectives on participants’ own research and provide foundational knowledge on topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer. Participants learn how to commercialize their research findings and discover new career paths this can open up.
In addition, enaCom’s start-up consulting service offers personalized support and coaching. This gives researchers the opportunity to further develop their ideas and plan concrete steps toward commercialization or the launch of a spin-off company.
The next upcoming event as part of the YES collaboration is the “Design Thinking for Researchers” workshop, which will take place on October 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here, those interested in starting a business will be introduced to the basics of design thinking and learn how to develop ideas and solutions based on user needs. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams and can strengthen their understanding of different perspectives and problem sets.
