As a clinical scientist, I work at the interface between basic immunology and clinical research. In our translational research, we focus on the immunology of natural killer (NK) cells and innate lymphoid cells (ILC). Here, we are particularly interested in the role of these cells in viral infections, hereditary gastrointestinal tumor syndromes, and liver fibrosis. My clinical research aims to identify factors that predict clinical manifestation and optimize surveillance strategies for patients with hereditary gastrointestinal tumor syndromes.
