The Bonn International Graduate Schools (BIGS) stand for excellent doctoral programs in a structured framework that meet the highest international standards. They offer doctoral students excellent research conditions, access to international research partnerships and educational programs tailored to their needs. BIGS offer the best possible preparation for a career at a high level in research and beyond.
Doctorate plusBIGS is a qualification program that is offered exclusively to BIGS doctoral students. The program, which changes every semester, includes a variety of offers, from half-day workshops to language courses during the semester. Registration for the events takes place via the coordinator of the respective BIGS. BIGS doctoral students are also very welcome to register for workshops in the open Doctorate plus program of the Bonn Graduate Center and its partners.
