Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) have become an important part of the way institutions, including universities, are trying to foster an environment that is welcoming to all. This lecture by Prof. Dr. Caesar Alimsinya Atuire (University of Ghana / University of Oxford) focuses on the concept of de-barriering as an approach to EDI.

The six-part lecture series "Diversity in a Change of Perspective - Science, Politics and Society" takes place within the framework of the project Diversity at German Universities. The individual lectures address various diversity dimensions as well as the topic of intersectionality and diversity at universities in an introductory lecture.
