Diversity Days 2025 Day 2
This year's Diversity Days at the University of Bonn are titled ‘Family Matters: Balance & Belonging’. In cooperation with the Office of Family Services, we are taking a look at the intersections of family and academia, especially with regard to women and LGBTQIA* people.
The programme continues on Tuesday at 9 a.m. with the workshop ‘(Wanting) kids and academia—a space for reflection for researchers and how to escape incompatibility’. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss questions about the desire to have children and a career as well as the current state of the compatibility of science and family. A strategy workshop for network partners of the Diversity Unit will take place at 2 p.m. and the programme will be rounded off with a network meeting at 5 p.m.
