DESCRIPTION:This year's Diversity Days at the University of Bonn are title
 d ‘Family Matters: Balance & Belonging’. In cooperation with the Offic
 e of Family Services\, we are taking a look at the intersections of family
  and academia\, especially with regard to women and LGBTQIA* people.\n\nTh
 e programme continues on Tuesday at 9 a.m. with the workshop ‘(Wanting) 
 kids and academia—a space for reflection for researchers and how to esca
 pe incompatibility’. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss q
 uestions about the desire to have children and a career as well as the cur
 rent state of the compatibility of science and family. A strategy workshop
  for network partners of the Diversity Unit will take place at 2 p.m. and 
 the programme will be rounded off with a network meeting at 5 p.m.
