Driven by sustainable chemistry, Dr. Wang works on the development of metal phthalocyanine-based molecular catalysts for the activation and conversion of small molecules (e.g., CO₂, NO₃⁻) into value-added chemicals. His research interests include molecular electrocatalysis, electrochemical CO₂/NO₃⁻ reduction, and electrochemical C–N/C–S bond formation, with a particular emphasis on gaining molecular-level insights into catalytic reaction mechanisms.
