Luke Wylie completed his PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 2021 before working as a postdoctoral researcher at ENS de Lyon in Lyon, France for 18 months. He has recently joined the University of Bonn as a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Professor Barbara Kirchner. He is a theoretical chemist foremost with several collaborations with experimentalists in the fields of electrochemistry, polymer chemistry and catalysis. His current research involves understanding ionic liquid solvent effect through simulation to apply this understanding to improve industrially relevant reactions.
