I am a W3 professor for Computational Neuroscience of Behavior at the Institute of Experimental Epileptology and Cognition Research at the medical faculty of the University of Bonn. My group analyses data at the molecular level writing down PDEs and ODEs for protein motion in dendrites, we simulate and analyse neural circuit activity and build ML prediction models for behavioral and activity data. We combine mathematics, physics and computer science to provide a better understanding of how neurons encode incoming information and perform computations.
