“Our mission is clear: to shape the future of medicine through the power of data analytics,” says Dr. Patrick Günther, CEO of aimed analytics. “The successful close of this round is a strong validation of our vision and our team’s work.” The investors of this round include proMetis Consulting GmbH, led by Dr. Guido Kemper, and Pi-Holding GmbH. Both partners contribute not only capital but also valuable expertise and strong networks to the company.

Self-service platform for biomedical scientists

With the funding and the integration of ValueData GmbH, aimed analytics aims to accelerate the development of its self-service platform for omics data. Its team will grow from 9 to 11 employees. The platform allows researchers to analyze complex datasets from genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics using natural language – enabling faster, clearer decision-making in drug discovery and biomedical research. Beyond product development, aimed analytics will expand collaborations with partners in pharma and academia and strengthen its team.

Spin-off from the University of Bonn

aimed analytics is a spin-off from the University of Bonn, which was supported by the Transfer Center enaCom. After winning the first university-wide ideas competition in 2021, the founding team secured funding through the EXIST start-up grant in 2022 before taking the plunge into founding their company in 2023. During this time, aimed analytics also used the co-working offices at the University of Bonn to focus on developing their business model.
