Workshop: 'Meet the Expert' The Center for Life Ethics and haus_für_JUNGES_denken will conduct a workshop on August 29, 2023 from 10 am - 1 pm on "Common Boundaries. The Theory and Practice of Environmental Property (Prof. Dr. Michael Cox)." The workshop will take place at the Center for Life Ethics, Schaumburg-Lippe-Str. 7, 53113 Bonn, Germany. All interested parties are asked to register by email to meet-the-expert@uni-bonn.de by August 15, 2023. The number of participants is limited to 25 slots. The workshop will be held in English.

Black holes have long fired the imagination and creativity of science, philosophy, and literature. Once they were speculative constructs of general relativity. Today, astronomical observations have confirmed their real existence. Now they raise exciting questions: What is the nature of space and time? What are the limits of our knowledge? How subjective is knowledge? During the Dialogue on Deck, experts will shed light on these closely interwoven scientific, epistemological and theological aspects. Afterwards we invite you to a joint discussion!
