Erasmus Traineeship
Organization and procedure

During Your Stay Abroad

Already started your Erasmus traineeship and keen to find out what you need to bear in mind about your Erasmus grant? Then you’ve come to just the right place.

What do I need to bear in mind about my Erasmus grant?

Documents and procedure

Confirmation of Arrival (PDF)
Traineeship Certificate (Learning Agreement after the Mobility) (PDF)

Ask your host institution to confirm the start and end dates of your traineeship abroad and upload the “Confirmation of Arrival” document to your Mobility-Online account as soon as you begin your traineeship. Make sure that you specify an exact date for the start and expected end of your traineeship; they should match the dates in your Grant Agreement.

These dates will be used to determine the dates of your stay and the total amount of your funding. You will then receive the first installment of your grant, amounting to 70% of the total.

Your traineeship abroad can be extended as a basic principle provided that the maximum funding period would not be exceeded and there is still enough funding available. You can find more details in the information sheet.

At the end of your traineeship, ask your host company to fill in your Traineeship Certificate. Make sure that the start and end dates of your traineeship match those given in your Confirmation of Arrival.
