Study-Buddy Program

Starting anew in a foreign country is an adventure, yet also an experience that brings many challenges. Especially at the beginning it can be quite complicated for international students: finding accommodation in Bonn, opening a bank account, notifying the registry office, enrolling, registering for courses, signing a mobile contract–advice and support is needed! This is why the International Office at the University of Bonn has designed the Study-Buddy Program.

What is the Study-Buddy Program?

This program matches newly arrived international students (mentees) with a “buddy”, i.e. a student from Bonn who helps with matters around the taking up of studies and life in Bonn. Student volunteers from Bonn give international students advice and assistance and help them get off to a good start at university and in Bonn.
