W3 Professorship for Clinical Pharmacy
to be filled in the Winter Term 2027/28.

We are seeking candidates with an internationally recognized research profile who have already demonstrated their capabilities through the successful acquisition of competitive third-party funding and outstanding publications in high-impact, internationally renowned journals. The desired research profile should make significant contributions to improving the efficacy and safety of medicines with a focus on pharmacometrics, translational drug research, personalized pharmacotherapy, medication safety, and patient-centered research. A high level of willingness and compatibility to participate in collaborative and interdisciplinary projects is expected, both within the Section of Pharmacy and within the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Medicine, particularly within the Transdisciplinary Research Areas (TRAs) “Modelling“ and “Life & Health“.
Teaching in German language is an integral part of the professorship. A high-quality teaching concept is expected. The candidate should be able to cover the full scope of clinical pharmacy in accordance with the regulations governing the licensing of pharmacists (“Approbationsordnung für Apotheker“). Relevant experience is required. Active participation in teaching and examinations within the state examination programme in Pharmacy, in the Master’s programmes in “Drug Research“, “Drug Regulatory Affairs“ and “Medication Safety (AMTS)“, as well as within the Bonn International Graduate School “Drug Sciences“ (BIGS DrugS), is a prerequisite. A license to practice as a pharmacist is desirable. Active participation in academic self-administration is expected.
