Counseling for victims

Counseling for anyone who has suffered or witnessed sexualized discrimination or violence at the University of Bonn:

·           Emergency crisis intervention tailored to the specific incident.

·           Psychological consultations (not just for severe crises).

·           Support with getting back into day-to-day University life.

·           Support with hearings, complaint procedures and legal proceedings.

·           Help seeking external treatment.

·           The counseling is confidential and, if desired, anonymous as well.

·           Counseling is offered regardless of your gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or background.

·           Counseling is offered regardless of whether what you have experienced is relevant under criminal law.

Advice for staff in positions of responsibility in the administration or in advisory and counseling services:

·           Specialist advice and peer consulting.

·           Consultations on stressful issues.

·           Training in holding consultations.
