Program Objective: The program is open to students from all disciplines who plan to pursue business-related studies abroad. Funding is available for master’s degree programs lasting two to four semesters. The goal is to develop the next generation of leaders who combine business expertise with social responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking.
Program Description: The Haniel Scholarship Program supports graduate programs (typically master’s programs) abroad leading to an internationally recognized degree. These programs build upon diverse academic backgrounds while maintaining a clear connection to business and entrepreneurship. The funding period is a minimum of two and a maximum of four semesters, including a field-related internship of up to three months. The maximum funding period is 22 months. Scholarship recipients are responsible for organizing their study plans and the logistics of their stay (e.g., visa, housing) independently.
Please note: Only complete study programs abroad are eligible for funding. It is not possible to apply for a semester abroad that leads to a degree from a university in Germany. If you have already begun your graduate studies abroad, you may also apply for the second year of study for four-semester programs.
