Protection Against Sexualized Violence and Abuse of Power in Organizations

The master’s degree program in Protection Against Sexualized Violence and Abuse of Power in Organizations studies the causes and dynamics of violence in institutional contexts and what prevention and intervention strategies are used. It is based on the realization that the abuse of power can occur in a whole range of organizations and can only be analyzed adequately by adopting an interdisciplinary approach. The program combines perspectives drawn from the social sciences, law, cultural studies and health sciences and teaches an in-depth knowledge of risk analyses, protection strategies, case management and organization-specific prevention work. Students will also learn methodological skills in academic analysis, counseling and communication as well as skills in process management and organizational development. An elective module will allow them to specialize in fields such as the Church, sport and social work. The aim is to enable students independently to analyze complex issues relating to protection against violence, devise appropriate measures and provide organizations with expert support in their prevention and intervention efforts.

Tuition fees: €5,450 per year

Tuition fees are charged for master’s degree programs for continuing education. The amount of the fees depends on what exactly is contained in the particular program and is based on its scale of charges.
