Some events are specifically designed for start-up founders and those who want to become one. In the workshops, experts teach methods for designing business models, team-building measures, and sales strategies.
Qualification for early-career researchers
A series of workshops is aimed specifically at young scientists who would like to get insights into topics such as innovation management or idea creation, for example using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method. Participation can be credited toward the Doctorate Plus certificate program.
Solve the problems of our time
At the Cybersecurity Hackathon, creative solutions for real IT security challenges are developed within 48 hours. The winning team will receive a prize money of €3,000 and further funding opportunities. In addition to exciting new experiences and networking opportunities, a big closing ceremony awaits you.
Ideas competition 2024
No matter what stage of development your idea is in, register now for the Transfer Center's ideas competition! You will have the opportunity of winning prizes worth €1,000 and get feedback from a jury of experts as well as take advantage of our comprehensive consulting services.
Participation and registration
The events – some of which are held in German – are practice-oriented and interdisciplinary. They teach basics, methods, and tools for founding a business or develop innovations. Last but not least, they make it fun to break new ground and develop ideas. Anyone interested is welcome to attend, no prior knowledge needed. Registration via the website is required.
The Transfer Center enaCom supports knowledge and technology transfer at the University of Bonn and advises on questions related to start-ups, inventions, and innovations from research.
