At #Hack4Surgery on June 6, you will have one day to use machine learning to develop innovative solutions that improve the quality of treatment and survival chances for patients. You will work with real data from the emergency center of the University Hospital Bonn (UKB) to, for example, accurately predict whether emergency surgery is necessary for certain symptoms such as abdominal pain. The hackathon will take place at the Bonn Surgical Technology Center (BOSTER), whose experts will also support you. Secure your spot now until May 30!

The events – some of which are held in German – are practice-oriented and interdisciplinary. They teach the basics, methods, and tools, and last but not least, they make it fun to break new ground and develop ideas. All interested parties are welcome, regardless of prior knowledge. Registration via the website is required.
The Transfer Center enaCom supports knowledge and technology transfer at the University of Bonn and advises on questions related to start-ups, inventions, and innovations from research.
