The STARTUP OPEN AIR (SOA) is Germany’s biggest open-air startup event and takes place on August 27, 2025, with open doors at the RHEINHUB in Bonn. The event aims to strengthen and connect the startup ecosystemwhile also offering a platform for fun and inspiration.
More than 2,000 participants are expected, including 100 startups, over 100 investors, as well as experts, corporates, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship and key innovation topics. This year’s SOA focuses on Impact and Digital Health.

At SOA, you’ll have the chance to network and get inspired across a variety of areas. Highlights include exciting startup pitches, where founders present their ideas, insightful keynotes, panels and hands-on workshops for practical learning and upskilling. A well-known live band, free food and drinks, and a relaxed open-air vibe will make sure fun is guaranteed.

The Transfer Centre enaCom will be there with a stand, as will various start-ups from the University of Bonn!
