New Collaborative Research Center at the University of Bonn
27. November 2023
The new Collaborative Research Center (CRC) "NuMeriQS: Numerical Methods for Dynamics and Structure Formation in Quantum Systems" is being funded at the University of Bonn. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics and structure formation in quantum systems.
The newly created Collaborative Research Center "NuMeriQS" combines computational methods developed in physics and chemistry with each other and these in turn with the latest developments in mathematics and computer science. The research is therefore located at the interface of the transdisciplinary research areas "Matter" and "Modeling" and can be described as an interdisciplinary success.
Spokesperson Prof. Dr. Carsten Urbach and co-spokesperson Prof. Dr. Barbara Kirchner of the Collaborative Research Centre and simultaneous members of the Transdisciplinary Research Area "Matter" thus promote cooperation between scientists from different disciplines. In addition to Jun. Prof. Lena Funcke, Clausius Professor of the TRA "Matter", other members of the TRA Matter are also involved in the Collaborative Research Center. TRA Matter supported the application process of this CRC.
Film Screening and Discussion - "CYBER EVERYTHING"
