What was the atmosphere like during the Career Days? Is there anything you particularly remember?
It was really warm and welcoming. People were approachable and supportive, and it was really great opportunity to connect with other doctoral students.
Which of the different formats did you like best (workshop, rolemodel talk, individual coaching, networking, keynote)?
Networking sessions were my favorite, hearing how your peers face their career planning or just sharing thoughts about their research or struggles is always insightful and reassuring.
Which input was particularly helpful to you?
The last keynote surprised me with its discussion Fals Borda's SentiPensar concept. I think that is an interesting methodology not only to reflect about the ethics of science but also to reflect critically about your career.
Have you been able to develop concrete plans for your career path after the Career Days? What do these look like?
I had already a concrete plan before the career days. I attended looking to gain more insights to make it successful. It was great to refine my approach with fresh ideas.
Would you recommend attending the event?
Absolutely, there is free coffee, food, and meaningful conversations and idea-sharing. Whether you're uncertain about your path or just looking to refine your plans, it’s worth attending.
Thank you for the interview. We wish you all the best and every success for the future!
