Coming between 91st and 100th thus represents a major improvement for the University of Bonn on the 126th–150th that it achieved last year. The THE Reputation Ranking compares universities all over the world based on their international reputation. Some 30,000 researchers from 159 countries replied to a THE survey, indicating which universities they see as the world’s best for teaching and research in their subjects. Final scores were then determined, weighting research and teaching in a 2:1 ratio.
The responses to the survey also feed into the well-known THE World University Ranking, which placed the University of Bonn an excellent 89th earlier this year.
