On Sunday, 12 July, the museum will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its reopening. Admission is free, and visitors of all ages can enjoy a varied programme, including gemstone panning for younger guests, exhibition trails through the special exhibition, a prize wheel, special guided tours, and much more.
