We apply deep learning techniques to analyze medical imaging data of patients with rare genetic diseases. The results are used for the interpretation of genetic variants. In TRA 1 Modelling, we also collaborate with colleagues from the other departments to understand the dynamics of genome evolution. By simulation, we generate ground truth data that can be analyzed for polygenic risk modeling.
