Short Description

BIGS-CS offers an excellent research environment for our 180 doctoral students within an internationally connected academic community. Close exchange with leading researchers, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in major research projects and initiatives create a strong research environment - including Clusters of Excellence, DFG research units and partnerships with institutions such as the Lamarr Institute and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The structured doctoral program and close supervision support early-career researchers in developing innovative ideas and accelerate for careers in academia and industry.

*Prior acceptance as a doctoral student in Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is mandatory.
