Central Study Advisory and Counseling Service (ZSB)
The Central Study Advisory and Counseling Service (ZSB) is the University’s first contact point for all questions around studying. We provide information and guidance to (prospective) students in all matters related to choosing a degree program, getting started at university and managing their studies. As a coordinator within the University’s counseling network, we work closely with the central advisory and service points, the faculties and the student representatives.

Career Service
The Career Service helps University of Bonn students make the transition from studying into the world of work. They can find answers to all their general questions about careers guidance, strategies for job applications and career planning in consultations, at workshops and through careers events. The Career Service is also the first port of call for companies and institutions keen to show students and graduates the opportunities that they offer for getting onto the career ladder.

Office of the Bonn Study Support Program “Be strong!”
The office coordinates the University-wide project for setting up the Bonn Study Support Program “Be strong!”. Offering both subject-specific and overarching support to University of Bonn students throughout their studies, the program will focus on providing guidance, further developing methodological skills and strengthening students’ personal resources. Once its concept design has been completed, it is scheduled to run as a pilot before being rolled out across all faculties of the University.
