New approach for treatment of contact allergy

Prof. Dr. Irmgard Förster (right) and Prof Dr. Günter Mayer (left) together with their team generated an aptamer, which inhibits contact allergy in mice. The machine in the back is a so-called aptamer roboter that is able to select aptamers in an automated process.
